Quench your thirst...
Well, medically speaking, alcohol doesn't really quench your thirst. It induces more thirst because of its diuretic effect. But the heck with that medical jargon. That stays in the book!
We nurses don't know any better. We love alcohol as much as you do and being a nurse, no matter how educated we are at it's death-inducing effects, can't take away that irrational philia.
